To be eligible: Entries must be a good quality, ORIGINAL (made by you) video related to Novalogic's Game: Delta Force 2. Can be an in-game recording, a short film that you and your friends or family made (shot in real life such as a parody or story) or animation. Slide shows also accepted. Videos must be uploaded to the CONTEST channel on or before midnight PST, August 31st 2008. Videos are limited to 100 Megs in size. Videos previously uploaded to df2videos.com are not eligible for entry. Videos must be new submissions.
Videos will be judged on quality of content and originality. Contest will open May 01, 2008 and close at midnight August 31st, 2008 Pacific Standard Time. Winner will be announced on September 15th, 2008 and prize awarded. Judges: ALICE =CTF= and ALRIC =CTF=
You will also be able to vote for your favorite video between the time of the contest entry closing and the announcment of the final decision. The Poll Booth will open midnight September 1, 2008 so vote for your favorite contest entry and see if you agree with the judges' decision!
GAMING FOR CHARITY

Three years ago, a father dealt with the pain of losing his infant son by turning to online gaming to pass the time.
His name is Jason Kubin. In 2005, his baby son, Ikarius, was murdered. Kubin remembers how difficult the time was.
He says, "After my son had passed, I started looking for something to take the place of the way I was feeling. I was constantly down and reminded of the times that had past and things that weren't going to happen."
To keep himself busy, he started Operation Strategic Assault Team, an online gaming group known as Operation S@T. Cash tournaments brought in computer players from all over the world. One day, Kubin realized the money could be put to better use.
He says, "It just seemed to me that we could do just a little bit more or do something better with that money and still provide the players with the ability to play the games and get recognition for their skill level."
The tournaments now raise money for charities such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Heart and Stroke Association, and the Make a Wish Foundation. Kubin hopes other groups catch on and start donating too.
He says, "We are the first of our kind. I'm hoping that other gaming communities or other gaming teams follow suit."
Since establishing the group, Kubin's efforts have not only helped charity groups. They have helped him cope with his son's passing.
"It kind of makes me want to, I don't know if you can say put a band aid on the situation, but there are a lot of bad things in this world but there are a lot of good things you just have to learn to look for them," says Kubin.
The gaming also helps him keep Ikarius' memory alive.
Kubin says, "I really think that by doing this for the team, I can do this as sort of a dedication for my son and let him know, just because you're not here in this world, doesn't mean you are not a part of this team that was intended for you."
